The instrumental rock band ‘And So I Watch You From Afar’ are starting their European tour next month (I’ve already got my ticket to see them play the Thekla in Bristol) and I love this tour poster that they’re using!
…The last time I saw them live I asked someone in the crowd for directions to the toilet and it turned out the person I’d talked to was their new guitarist
It was mine and my girlfriend’s anniversary last week and this is the brilliant present she gave me, a limited edition, hand silk screened Eagles of Death Metal UK tour poster for the gig that I went to, which was actually printed and sold at the venue on the night!
The poster was designed by Chris Hopewell at Jacknife Studios (which is based in Bristol) and the support band that night, The Hot Melts, aren’t together any more but I became a fan after seeing them at this gig and I highly recommend that people go and buy the only album they released
I don’t reblog many photographs but I love this one taken by one of my many favourite bands, And So I Watch You From Afar, while they’re on tour in America
I wish I could buy a copy of this poster advertising the great instrumental rock band And So I Watch You From Afar
